Daleville, AL - Members of the Daleville High School band will be travel ling to Canada this week.
They will be touring the city of Toronto and will also perform at a museum.
The students have been preparing for the trip for more than a year.
They say, this is the biggest trip they've ever taken.
“This trip is quite a large trip for a high school student. As a senior it's sort of special to you because it's the last big thing you'll be doing as ahigh school student,” said senior band member Cody Halley.
“Another senior member, Rochele Beard said, “I actually have a lot of family and friends that live in Canada that I've never seen. I just want to go up there and experience what they get to experience on a day to day basis. I'm very excited. I can't wait!”
The band director hopes the trip exposes students to other cultures.
