DDRA Presents Check for Dothan Library Fund

Dothan, AL - Dothan's new downtown library has more money its building fund.

Wednesday, the Dothan Downtown Redevelopment Authority presented the second part of a $25,000 grant to the Library Foundation President.

The entire project will cost about $7.5 million.

"The DDRA is instrumental in that project. The new library downtown is one of the first new developments downtown in some number of years. I think the DDRA realized the benefit of it and what it would do for activity downtown," said Steve Roy, Houston Love Memorial Library Board Chairman.

Wednesday's check was for $12,500.
