HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Dozens of people lined up outside a Huntsville dentist office to take advantage of an offer of free dental care for people who can't afford it.

More than 120 people signed up for Complete Dental's "Season of Smiles" program by Thursday.

Dr. Rob Soutoudehnia said the idea originated when someone in the office suggested doing something to help the community's needy and the proposal quickly caught on with staff.

Most Dentists are in this profession for the money, all you have to do is look at the new modern facilities that many of them have and then figure out who really pays for them. A good deed has been done by the Dentist in Huntsville it would be a miracle if that would happen state wide. But maybe it will come to pass.

If more dentists did this it would be a boon to the people, of this state. Since moving here I have seen more people with rotten ugly mouths than I have in the rest of my life. Some good dental care will improve the general health of the population as bad teeth/gums leads to poor health, heart disease at the top of the list!
