Crews Start Work on Former Montgomery Highway Gas Station

Gas crews in Dothan have been doing some minor work at a former gas station on Montgomery Highway.

Trucks used hot vapor to separate gas and water underground at the corner of Montgomery Highway and North Cherokee.

The work is required because an abandoned gas station sat on that corner for years. The work is harmless and is approved by the state.

There is no word on how often the work is done or when it will be finished.
