Traffic accident on Washington Rd.

The city of Cowarts will have to wait a little while longer to get a traffic light.
The proposed light would be installed at the intersection of glen Lawrence road ... Forrester road and highway 84.
The project will cost a little more than 185-thousand dollars.
The city will pay about 92-thousand dollars ... And is asking the county to pay the rest.
Houston County Commissioners were supposed to vote on the issue today ... But the motion was tabled until the next meeting ... Which is two weeks away.
The city also wants to add caution lights before the actual signal to warn drivers that a light is approaching.
