On June 2, 2012 the Dothan Police Department made a felony narcotic arrest after an officer noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in front of an abandoned lot at Pryor Street and Monroe Street. As the officer approached the vehicle it sped away at a high rate of speed towards Lake Street. The vehicle failed to come to a complete stop at the stop sign after which the officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 1300 block of Lake Street. During the investigative stop, police discovered the back seat passenger, Christopher Culver, was in possession of cocaine. The evidence was turned over to narcotic investigators and Culver was arrested.

•Christopher Culver, black male, 39 years of age, of Columbia, Alabama was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with a $ 5,000 bond.
