FORT RUCKER, Ala. (April 5, 2012) – Fort Rucker officials have reported that at approximately 2:35 p.m. Monday, a civilian worker was killed when a beam from a newly constructed aircraft hanger fell on the crane the victim was working from.
There were no other injuries and no damage to any aircraft or property. Fort Rucker officials are investigating the cause of the accident and the name of the deceased is being withheld until next of kin is notified.
