City of Enterprise Gearing up for Veterans Day

August 3, 2011 – Planning is underway for this year’s Veteran’s Day Parade and Ceremony. The events are on Thursday, November 10, 2011.

The parade begins at 5pm in downtown Enterprise and the ceremony begins at 6:00pm at the Enterprise Civic Center on Highway167 North.

The parade is hosted by the VFW John Wiley Brock Post 6683 and the DAV Chapter 9 and is open to non-commercial military affiliated organizations. The registration fee is $10.

The annual ceremony will feature LTC Ronald Ells, Commander, 1-212th Avn Regt, the city’s Sister Unit at Fort Rucker. The public is encouraged to attend.
