Christmas Lunch For Seniors

Seniors in the Wiregrass got an early Christmas present Friday.
The tenth annual community Christmas luncheon was held at Bibleway Ministries in Dothan.

Sponsors and restaurants around town help raise money to bring seniors something that couldn't have come at a better time.

"You can see the response of people that’s out here already right before eleven. And were just super excited to be able to give our seniors portable heaters and hot meals today." Luncheon Coordinator Anita Dawkins said.

Last year they had more than 600 people come out to the event...this year they believe there may be much more.
