FORT RUCKER - The main gate at Cairns Army Airfield will be closed effective Tuesday, February 14 until Monday February 20 in order to make required renovations.
During the time the main gate to Cairns is closed traffic will use alternate gate (Gate 7) for entry/exit of Cairns.
Fort Rucker Police will post a road or gate closed sign at the entrance to Cairns and detour signs along the route to the alternate gate.
Personnel who are working at Cairns should plan their travel accordingly. Cairns main gate will reopen Tuesday, February 21.
