The body found in a Troy pond yesterday has been identified.
Troy Police say the body is of Earl Teague, 44. He went missing on Saturday.
Teague’s body was discovered in a pond off Diana Street on Wednesday morning by a Pike County Commissioner. Foul play is not suspected in his death; however, the case remains under investigation.
A body was discovered in Troy Wednesday afternoon.
The body was found by Pike County Commissioner Homer Wright when he was working around a privately owned pond off Diana Street.
The body has not been identified yet, but investigators believe it could be Robert Earl Teague, 44, who has been reported as missing since Sept 14.
The Pike County coroner has said that the body had most likely been in the pond for several days.
No foul play is suspected at this time.
