BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- Police are investigating the death of a 69-year-old man as a homicide.
Birmingham police Sgt. Johnny Williams confirmed the death Saturday but said investigators were withholding further details.
Family members told AL.com that the victim was Felix McKinney, a retiree. The man's nephew, Douglass Davis, said he came to check on McKinney on Saturday morning because he couldn't reach him the night before.
Davis said he and another man found McKinney on the floor. He said McKinney's television and vehicle were missing.
