EUFAULA, Ala. (AP) -- A preliminary autopsy report shows that a Georgia man shot by police in Eufaula died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Barbour County Coroner Chip Chapman said Wednesday the cause of 26-year-old Cameron Massey's death was multiple gunshots, but other details were not released. Chapman said it usually takes six to eight months for the full autopsy report, but it could be expedited because of the nature of the case.
Massey, of Columbus, Ga. was fatally shot during a traffic stop last week.
The Alabama Bureau of Investigation is probing the case.
