Authorities in northern Alabama are searching for an inmate who escaped from the Lauderdale County Detention Center.
Investigators say 43-year-old Terry Wayne Myers was able
to get into an air conditioning shaft, crawl to the roof and escape.
Authorities noticed the man was missing early Monday morning.
Officials say Willis was wearing a green jumpsuit when he escaped and had been held in the detention center since March.
Officials say Willis was arrested for theft and walked away from a work release center before being taken to the county detention center.
Willis is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds, has green eyes, a bald head, and a clown tattoo on his neck.
