ASHFORD, AL - An Ashford teen has died after fighting cancer for eight months.
According to the “Prayers for Cody” facebook page, Cody Hayes died at seven o’clock Thursday morning.
He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia in October 2013.
Cody was 17 years old and a student at Ashford High School.
Visitation and funeral services for Cody will be Sunday, June 15, at the Watermark Church in Ashford. The visitation will be from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. That will be followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 p.m.
