An armed robbery shut down the University of South Alabama’s Campus tonight.

The search for the suspect started around 3P.M. today.

Officials say no one was hurt, but the campus alert is still in effect.

Students and officials are being told to remain inside until further notice.

Reports say the robber was seen near the housing area with a weapon.
Officials do not believe shots were fired.
