Annual Ozark Crawdad & Music Festival Brings Out Old and New Friends

OZARK-- A large crowd packed downtown Ozark on Saturday for the 8th Annual Ozark Crawdad & Music Festival.

The community took the event as an opportunity to catch up with old friends while munching on crawfish, roasted corn and a number of other festival foods.

The Voice's contestant Jared Blake, Johnny Barron and the Waterfalls and Terry Hancks all performed live music.

Throughout the day, some visitors ran in the Dale County Color Run for Cancer and took part in the Car and Bike Show held at the Ozark City Municipal Building.

Visitors said it's a great time to gather as a community.

"It's a great day for Ozark," local restaurant owner Lamar Spence said. "Meeting, greeting, shaking hands, it brings in revenue. It's on the square and everybody's loving it and having a great time."
