MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Public Service Commission member Terry Dunn says the PSC is working with Alabama Power Co. to design incentives for small businesses to expand and add employees.

Dunn said the PSC and the state's largest electric utility are talking about ways to offer discounts to companies that hire new employees or expand into vacant commercial property. He said it would enhance efforts by the governor and Legislature to create jobs.

An Alabama Power spokesman confirmed that discussions are underway, but nothing is definite yet.
