MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) -- Alabama Lt. Gov. Kay Ivey has been elected to chair the state's delegates to the upcoming Republican National Convention.
Ivey was elected to the post Saturday.
She served as the chair of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney's presidential campaign in Alabama.
She said in a statement that the delegation is "unified and focused" on electing Romney president.
