MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) -- Republican presidential candidate Mitt
Romney has picked up an endorsement form Alabama's speaker of the House, Mike Hubbard of Auburn.
Hubbard also agreed to serve as co-chairman of Romney's Alabama Leadership Team. Hubbard said he's backing the former Massachusetts governor because his private sector experience uniquely qualifies him to understand how to create jobs.
Romney said he's honored to have Hubbard on his team because Hubbard led the Alabama Republican Party in 2010 when it won every
statewide race and put Republican majorities in both houses of the Legislature.
Romney picked up endorsements earlier from Lt. Gov. Kay Ivey, U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers of Saks and former U.S. Rep. Jack Edwards of Mobile.
