MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Alabama Gov. Bob Riley has scheduled a
news conference to discuss a possible special session of the Legislature on ethics and campaign finance legislation.

Riley's spokesman says the news conference will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the state Capitol.

Some of the legislation the outgoing governor is considering for a special session would ban the transfer of money between political action committees, require full disclosure of lobbyists' spending on public officials, and give subpoena power to the Alabama Ethics
Commission.

He has wastefully spent enough of Alabama's money as it is! WE DON'T NEED THIS SPECIAL SESSION TO WASTE MORE! Just get out of office and leave things to the new governor AND TAKE ALL YOUR CROOKED CRONNIES WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE!
