Alabama Cities Plan Holiday Light Festivals

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The state tourism agency reports that
holiday festivals and light exhibits will be starting soon in several Alabama cities.

The city of Arab will host its 15th consecutive Christmas in the Park light festival from Nov. 26-31. Bellingrath Gardens in Mobile has its Magic Christmas in Lights from Nov. 26-Dec. 31. The Zoolight Safari at the Birmingham Zoo runs on selected nights from Dec. 10-Jan. 2. The Galaxy of Lights Holiday Light Show is set for the Huntsville Botanical Garden from Nov. 19-Dec. 31. The Montgomery Zoo has its Christmas Light Festival from Dec. 2-31.

Decatur has its Parade of Lights on boats along the Tennessee River on Dec. 4. The Governor's Mansion in Montgomery will be open for candlelight tours Dec. 13-14.
