The polls are open and the voters are flooding in...
"They have been busier than what they anticipated." But being busy is a good thing when it comes to today's vote.
"For us it's to come out and vote on the proposed amendment to transfer funds." And just like Bill, most people are excited to exercise their right to vote.
"I hope everybody comes out because it doesn't take that long." Another thing that didn't take long was for people to decide which box to check on the ballot.
"On this particular issue, it's important for the people to realize that we need to live within our means." Some even made the decision a little bit faster.
"Do you want the politicians to steal our money or do you want them to leave it in a trust fund where they'll get a little money from it...they have no way of paying it back."
Now despite their differences, there was one thing voters could agree on today. Whether they supported the amendment today or not...the main thing on people's minds was to come out and vote.
"Come out and vote today...it's very important."
"Each person needs to make up his or her own mind.."
"That's what this country's about. My husband who has just passed away was a veteran and that's what he fought for...that we have the right and the privilege and the honor to be able to vote and everyone should do it."And that's why Tina says she votes every time the polls are open.
The polls will remain open until 7 tonight.
