Alabama Residents Could Get Help From Storms

Alabama is looking to seek federal assistance from the u-s small business administration to support the state in recovery from the Christmas day storms.
If the request is granted, homeowners, small businesses, and renters could get disaster and economic injury loans.

Renters and homeowners can borrow up to 40-thousand dollars to replace clothing, furniture, cars, appliances and other items that were destroyed by the storms.
And they can borrow up to 200-thousand to replace their primary residence to its pre-disaster condition.
Business owners can borrow up to 2-million to repair or replace damaged property.
This includes real estate, inventories, supplies, and equipment.
Non-profit organizations can also apply for this.

Damage assessments by the small business administration will take place in pike and mobile counties next week.
