MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Mobile police say they have arrested the father of two children who have been missing since the summer and are believed to be dead.
Police Chief Michael T. Williams says authorities are now searching for the bodies of 5-year-old Natalie Deblase and 3-year-old Chase Deblase.
He says police think the children are dead based on what their father told investigators.
The children's father, John Deblase, was arrested Friday night on charges of aggravated child abuse and abuse of a corpse.
Their stepmother, Heather Leavell-Keaton, was arrested Wednesday in Louisville, Ky.
