TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- Police in Tuscaloosa have charged a 16-year-old boy as an adult in the rape of a 21-year-old woman.
Reports say the teen was babysitting for a relative at the time of the attack. Authorities say the victim was asleep at the apartment when the teen attacked her.
Although the suspect is being charged as an adult, The Associated Press does not identify juvenile crime suspects.
Police say the teen is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on $60,000 bond.
