ANDALUSIA, Ala. (AP) -- Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley will throw out the first pitch during the opening ceremony of the Babe Ruth World Series in Andalusia.
Bentley will participate in the opening ceremony to wrap up his visit to Andalusia Thursday as he continues his Road to Economic Recovery Tour of the state.
The Andalusia tour will begin at noon with a lunchtime visit of David's Catfish. Bentley will visit the Andalusia campus of Lurleen B. Wallace Community College at about 2 p.m. to discuss the school's workforce development program.
At 3:15 p.m. the governor will visit Henderson Sewing Machines in Andalusia and at 4:30 p.m. he will conduct a round table discussion on economic development with members of the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce.
