MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) -- Liquor agents in Alabama are searching for the operator of an illegal moonshine still found in an abandoned shed.
Agents from the state's Alcohol Beverage Control Board found the still Wednesday in a shed behind an abandoned residence. Agency spokesman Dean Argo said the home was located in Hope Hull, about 15 miles south of Montgomery.
Reports say Argo says that agents could smell sour mash once they arrived and saw moonshining equipment. After getting a search warrant, the agents found a seven-barrel whiskey still.
Authorities are still searching for the suspected operator.
