ATHENS, Ala. (AP) - Around 300 blackbirds were found dead along
Interstate 65 just in north Alabama.

WHNT-TV reports that the birds were found just off the side of the northbound lanes a little south of Athens.

Wildlife biologist Mitchell Marks says it appears the birds were feeding alongside the road and flushed and then flew into a vehicle.

Marks says all the dead birds had clear signs of trauma.

I don't believe it...I have driven by black birds a thousand times and NEVER hit a single one. They are covering something up.

300 birds all hit at once with a vehicle? Yeah, right. Apparently the "vehicle" was totaled and the driver?
