Abbeville police arrested 2-people Saturday for possession of meth.
The arrest was made on highway 431 at around 9 p-m following a routine traffic stop.

The driver agreed to a search. Officers found about 4-ounces of meth, marijuana and 2-glass pipes.

Police say meth is the larger issue, and that it's becoming a bigger problem everyday.

"It's beginning to be more prevalent that we get this much of an amount of narcotics like this. Meth is an upcoming drug that’s hitting us pretty hard right now," said Lt. Noel Vanlandingham.

Tracy Raybon and Debora Wilson are awaiting their first court appearance. That's when their bonds will be set.
Raybon has a drug trafficking case that is still pending, so her bond could be set higher.
