“She's cute enough that if she approaches you and chases you she's cute enough for a guy to let catch," said Dwayne Barrentine, ex-boyfriend of 34 year old Tausha Fields.
It was that charm that drew Barrentine to Fields.
And it was that same charming appeal that in the end, resulted in the murder of Mitch Kemp- Fields' ex-husband.
"This was a mystery when this young man, Mitch, disappeared in 2004. He disappeared in Missouri but it was Dwayne Barrentine, a young man in Marianna, Florida who really saved the case," said Erin Moriarty with CBS News.
By the age of 30, Fields had 5 failed marriages.
It was the union between ex-husband, Gregory Morton that led to Kemp's death.
"I didn't know that there were a trail of men prior to me as much as there actually was," said Barrentine.
"I don't think she ever really know what the truth really was, she told so many lies," said Jackson County Sheriff, Lou Roberts.
With a suspicious feeling, Barrentine began researching field's past.
"He goes on Google, he goes on her MySpace page and finds that there is someone on her page asking her about this missing man, Mitch Kemp. He starts putting two and two together. He meets another ex-boyfriend who says Tausha Fields talked about helping someone murder an ex-husband," said Moriarty.
"If she doesn't get life, she is going to be out doing the same thing that she had done before, manipulating people," said Barrentine.
While Fields is facing life in prison her daughter is facing life without parents.
Fields' daughter is in state custody seeking psychiatric help.
Fields and Morton are charged with first degree murder.
