(MONTGOMERY)-- United States District Judge Roger Vinson ruled today in federal court in Pensacola that parts of a lawsuit against President Obama’s health care plan will be decided in court. Attorney General Troy King and 19 other states are suing on the basis that the plan violates the United States Constitution by forcing citizens to have health insurance and penalizing them if they don’t comply. Attorney General Troy King was pleased with today’s ruling, saying that “Today, Judge Vinson ruled that the voices of the Founding Fathers, and of the people, that were ignored during the backroom deals and secret midnight sessions in Congress to shove this bill through, will not be silenced. I have been saying for months that all we want is our day in court to prove that this bill is as unconstitutional as the American people know it is. And now, we will get it.”
