Press Release: Possible Murder Suspect Residing in Houston Co.

On July 30th, 2010, the Houston County Sheriff's Office received information from DeKalb County Police Department, DeKalb County Ga., of a possible murder suspect residing in Houston County, Al in the Cottonwood area and was requesting information on the suspect’s vehicle.

On July 31st Houston County Deputies and Cottonwood Police Department responded to a domestic call on B. J. Mixon Rd. and found the suspect at that location and took him into custody for questioning.

The suspect vehicle was recovered and taken into custody as evidence and a search warrant was obtained. The vehicle was processed for evidence by the Houston County Sheriff's Office and the Dothan Police Department.

Tarvoris Monquel Godwin a 23 year old male of Cottonwood, Al. is being held in Houston County on the charge of Fugitive from Justice with a no bond and awaiting extradition to DeKalb County, Georgia on a murder warrant.

The Houston County Sheriff's Office is also looking for two other suspects in connection with the murder that occurred in Georgia. Georgia has arrest warrants for Tropchy Henderson and Reheeam Partridge.

Tropchy Henderson a 24 year old black male, five feet ten inches tall, one-hundred and forty-five pounds, brown eyes, black hair (long dreadlocks style).

Reheeam Muhammand Partridge a 25 year old black male, five feet seven inches tall, one-hundred and thirty-five pounds, brown eyes, black hair.
