The Dothan Downtown Group held its last Farmers Market for the summer.
Despite the oppressive heat, the Poplar Head Farmers Market ended on a high note.
The Poplar Head Farmers Market had a steady flow of foot traffic Saturday.
Officials saw more people this year than previous years.
The market offered fresh fruit, vegetables, and arts and crafts for kids.
"We've had more farmers this year and more vendors this year. It stayed steady the whole season which was great," says Paula Hennig, Poplar Head Market Manager.
The Downtown Group is looking to include more entertainment activities like food demonstrations for next year's market.
