Birmingham Police Seize Gambling Machines

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Birmingham police are investigating suspicions of an illegal gaming business after they seized 10 electronic gambling machines in a raid on a house in West End.

The Birmingham Police Department Vice Unit found the machines as they executed a search warrant at a house off Cleveland Avenue Friday. Sgt. Johnny Williams says nobody was home and nobody was
arrested.

Officers also seized $2,200.
