Brantley, AL — A Brantley man lost his life in a crash early Tuesday morning.
49-year-old Darryl Taunton was killed when he lost control of the 1987 Ford F-150 he was driving and overturned.
Taunton was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by Crenshaw County Coroner Ronnie Turner.
The crash occurred at 7:45 a.m. on County Road 37 in Crenshaw County about five miles south of Brantley.
Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
