In an attempt to raise $15,000 for the Relay for Life, the committee is placing "purple potties" in residents’ front yards.
The toilets cannot be removed until a donation is made to the Relay for Life Foundation. One purple potty was placed in Mark Culver's front lawn, all for the cause of helping those with cancer.
“It's very rewarding to know that people care and that they're willing to give to the Cancer Society to help those kinds of patients who need it, who maybe can't afford either prostethesis, medicines,” said cancer survivor, Jennifer Winters.
They will continue to place the potties in yards until their goal is met.
