Mobile, Ala. police investigate woman's death

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Homicide investigators in Mobile are gathering information in the death of 69-year-old community leader Zoa White, whose body was found on Monday in her home.

Police spokesman Officer Ron Wallace declined on Tuesday to say how White was killed. Her body was found about 10 a.m. Monday by officers responding to a burglary complaint at her home,

White left her successful real estate career and worked as the director of special projects for Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs. In 2006, she managed Gov. Bob Riley's campaign
headquarters in Mobile.
