Most inmates released from prison have a tough time re-entering society.
To help alleviate this, The Ark group created an 11-month program to help ease the transition.
The Ark provides ex-offenders with a place to stay, meals to eat, and assistance obtaining a job.
The non-profit group is preparing 30 men through classes and mentorship.
"When you sit still for so long the world progresses and you come out here and you wonder "What do I do?" That's a lot of the reason for homeless people and also re-offending,” says Johnny Beauford, Ex-Offender.
The Ark hosts a car wash every Saturday to raise money to purchase another facility that will be used to house women.
