Fatal shooting attributed to road rage argument

DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - Police say the fatal shooting of a Madison man was the apparent result of a road rage argument.

The Huntsville Times reported that 22-year-old Hunter Blake McElroy was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of a Decatur business Friday night. He died later at a Decatur hospital.

Police told The Times the passengers in McElroy's vehicle had gotten into an argument with a person in another vehicle. Police said the shooting occurred when the cars stopped at the Decatur business and McElroy got into an argument with another man.

Police said 44-year-old Timothy Dewayne West was arrested and charged with murder.
