The Evermore CID is celebrating the completion of their $33 million U.S. Highway 78 median project. The road was expanded to six lanes, sidewalks and crosswalks were added.
DOTHAN – The Alabama Department of Public Safety and the Dothan Police Department combined their efforts this past weekend to “Take Back Our Highways.” Alabama State Troopers and Officers took to the highways Saturday and Sunday evening conducting safety checkpoints throughout the city of Dothan and Houston County. The emphasis was placed on changing driver behavior and decreasing traffic fatalities.
