Alabama bondswoman charged with trafficking drugs

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Police in Tuscaloosa say narcotics
investigators have arrested a bail bondswoman accused of
trafficking Oxycontin.

Tuscaloosa police spokesman Officer Brent Blankley says
28-year-old Rose Mary Talton was the subject of a two-month
investigation.

Blankley says Talton was arrested on Monday and has been
released on $100,000 bail.

Agents with the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force say Talton was
a contact for a group bringing pills into Tuscaloosa County.

Blankley says agents are continuing the investigation and other arrests could be made.
