Kids from kindergarten to fifth grade learned about the dangers of riding and walking to school. Representatives from the Alabama and Florida state departments of education were on hand giving students safety tips.

“I think the biggest thing they get out of it is to always wear a helmet when they're riding their bike because a lot of children don't wear helmets and also to always stick with a buddy when they're waiting on a school bus,” said Dianne Courtney with the department of education.

Students also received bike helmets as prizes.

WHERE did these students ride to? Does it take sensationalistic headlines to get people to actually read your article ? Or do you get bonuses for how many "click" on your story to read it? You apparently thought the TRUTH was too mundane to print, Something like "Students Learn Traffic Safety"
