Alabama man gets 3 life sentences for killing

ANNISTON, Ala. (AP) - A 27-year-old co-defendant in the 2006 killing of a customer at an Ohatchee service station received three life sentences after pleading guilty to murder, attempted murder
and first-degree robbery.

Bobby Dejuan Jackson of Anniston was originally charged with
capital murder in the killing of 62-year-old Thomas Bowen during a
robbery.

His attorney says that as a result of the plea, Jackson could eventually be paroled.

Jackson and 22-year-old Jarell Damone Price were charged with
the killing.

Price was convicted of capital murder, attempted murder and
first-degree robbery, and was sentenced to life in prison without
parole.
