ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (AP) - An Alabama congressman and state
Attorney General Troy King are scheduled to visit Albetville to
inspect damage from last weekend's tornado.
Rep. Robert Aderholt, R-Haleyville, and King are scheduled to
visit the city on Friday. King will meet with Mayor Lindsey Lyons
and Police Chief Benny Womack at city hall. Aderholt's schedule has not yet been publicly released. Gov. Bob Riley visited on Monday.
County emergency services director Anita McBurnett says about
675 structures in Marshall County were damaged by last weekend's
She says all roads are now open and power has been restored to
all but about 1,250 customers.
