BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - One person is dead and another is recovering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound after a shooting in Ensley.
Authorities have not identified the victims pending notification of family.
Birmingham Sgt. Johnny Williams Jr. says West Precinct officers responded to the 800 block of Avenue F shortly before 4 p.m. for reports of shots fired.
That's when two people showed up at the Southside hospital with gunshot wounds.
Authorities say one was pronounced dead in a vehicle outside the hospital. Another was treated by hospital employees.
