Dozens gathered in Dothan Wednesday to recognize Administrative Assistant's day.
But the event also benefitted a worthy cause.
The Pilot Club of Dothan hosted it's 17th annual Secretary's Day Luncheon at the Elk's Lodge on Ross Clark Circle.
For a $15 donation, people enjoyed lunch complete with entertainment and door prizes.
All donations go to "Project Lifesaver" run by the Alzheimer’s Resource Center.
“This provides bracelets and support for people that have Alzheimer’s and special persons that need to be to be found if they wander away from their home.,” said Nelda Catrett, Chairperson for the luncheon
"Project Lifesaver" has been in Houston County for several years.
The money from today's event will help establish the project in Geneva County.
