ABBEVILLE, Ala. (AP) - A prosecutor says a Henry County teenager
accused of placing a bomb in downtown Abbeville was trying to blow
up the car of his former roommate's mother.
Henry County District Attorney Doug Valeska said 19-year-old
Cody Lynn Densel was charged Friday with possessing or
manufacturing a destructive device.
Densel was taken into custody after the bomb was discovered
Wednesday. He's being held in the Henry County Jail under $200,000
bond. If convicted, he faces two to 20 years in prison.
