MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - The man behind Alabama's Farm to Market
Road Program, former Gov. James E. "Big Jim" Folsom, has been
inducted into the Alabama Road Builders Hall of Fame.

Folsom was recognized at a ceremony in Montgomery.

their products to market and to stimulate the economy. The program
used $650 million in federal, state and county funds to pave more
than 18,000 miles of roads across the state.
