Auburn police investigate first homicide this year

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Police in Auburn are investigating the city's first homicide of the year.

Officers received a report of a shooting at a home Monday night.

When they arrived, they found 32-year-old Theodore T. Reese of
Auburn.

Records show he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reports that 20-year-old Auntavious
J. Curry, also of Auburn, was taken to East Alabama Medical Center
with a wounded left arm.

Capt. Tom Stofer said no one had been charged but that he
expected a murder warrant to be filed for Curry.

He said an argument between the two men appears to have led to the shooting.
